HAPPY TAILZ - UPDATE - he is a great dog and was RESCUED !
UPDATE: Thank you everyone for great response ! Taco is tagged and pickup arrangements in place
WONT SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ? TACO was tagged by a rescue who has FAILED him - NOW HE SITS AND WAITS TO DIE -
Sad to report that a rescue in North Texas contacted coordinators here saying they wanted to tag this dog - however they took no responsibility from there - instead they placed burden of responsibility solely on their foster/volunteer who had no means to pay to vet or board the dog before transport nor any way to pickup the dog. We provided the volunteer with names / numbers of local veterinarians and shelter volunteers were available to transport the dog to a local veterinarian of their choice. We also are able to provide lists of transporters or rescues can find their own. Sadly after sending in their 501-c-3 - no arrangements whatsoever were made and Taco’s life now hangs in the balance. Sending in a 501-c-3 is a commitment to save a life. If rescues tag a dog it is their responsibility to see their tag through to completion - not to let a dog sit at a kill shelter for over a week then end up in the euthanasia room.
- Can anyone help Taco - he is a young lab/maybe cur mix - small -small to medium sized - and a super friendly super sweet SUPER DUPER dog.
He’s young, sweet as can be and has been so let down
PLEASE CALL NOW TO SAVE TACO HE IS SHUTTING DOWN
